A large assortment of tasty dumplings, Peking duck and other offerings. Service was adequate fairly quick. No alcohol available and surrounding were good for being in a shuttered Taco Cabana. We enjoyed the food and will be back to try more!

Xiao long bao so delicious I couldn't take a picture before I ate it all. Generous portions and authentic flavor. This is the best Chinese restaurant I been to in Texas. Peking duck was crispy and delicious. Mapo tofu had just the perfect amount of spice, not a lot of heat just little bit for a ton of flavor. Can't wait to come back.

I've been wanting to try Duck & Dumpling since they opened and only just went for the first time tonight. FANTASTIC experience. The service was friendly. The food was AMAZING. My sons loved their pork and their beef bao, and even as hungry teenager boys realized that one serving was enough for them to split. Now, they have bao leftovers! My husband ordered the spicy crispy chicken- I kept stealing pieces of it and couldn't help myself. I like a little spice but I hate it when food is too spicy to enjoy the flavor. The crispy spicy chicken had a DELICIOUS burn- the burn was just there but you're still able to enjoy the lovely flavor of the chicken. I had the pork fried rice. It was so delicious- my husband, sons, and even my in-laws were taking some of it (which I offered to them, so no big deal). My in-laws LOVED their duck. My potstickers were so flavorful and juicy. Best Chinese meal I've had in years. We will most definitely return, and hopefully sooner rather than later!

Wonderful service and dine in experience! I went with my father and he had the Kung pao chicken with rice which he states, "it was a nice spicy hot that complimented the dish, but it wasn't like painful hot. Very very nice, cooked professionally and perfectly." I had a bit and I agree. Then I had half a duck with dumplings and the Ube Taro Milk Tea, which the tea was nice, but the initial taste wasn't the most appealing. Although the vanilla rich aftertaste made it worthwhile. Then the duck and dumplings were very good, although there was some human error on my part for not making them 100% correctly althpugh they were still unbelievably delicious! All in all I would definitely recommend coming here for dinner, or just in general!

I recently visited Duck & Dumpling Chinese Restaurant in San Antonio and had a great experience. We ordered the half roasted duck, which came with a duck broth soup that included cabbage and tofu. The duck itself was crispy, flavorful, and cooked really well. It was served with green onions and rice flour wraps, which made it even better. We also tried the pork and shrimp xiao long bao, and those were just as impressive—fresh and delicious. The service was fast, the restaurant was clean, and the overall atmosphere was very enjoyable. Everything we ordered hit the mark. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend it to anyone looking for quality Chinese food in San Antonio.
